The request failed with HTTP status 417: Expectation failed + Squid

Hi All

I know this topic has been put out there before, and that a solution has already been found, but the problem Im experiencing is that I cant implement the solution due to squid constantly timing out when I enter the "ignore_expect_100 on;" string in the custom options box. I also thought of entering the IP addresses in the "Bypass proxy for these destination IPs" box, but that also times out without saving changes. Is there a config file I can amend via the console, as I already looked in etc for a squid file and couldn't find it.

Have you checked the System log for Squid errors?  Anything in /var/squid/logs/cache.log?
