xl1: link state changed to UPand i begin to think that maybe this can be the problem related to not able to communicate with op1 interface sometimes during the day? I believe that they indicate something like the cable in disconnected or somethingelse!
Any ideas? Thanks.

Search ;)

Already searched….... and it seems that I've to check hardware between the adsl router and the wan interface on pfsense. I will try to change the crossover cable used. But I'm quite skeptic about that , that's why i prefer to post.......
Could it be a nic problem on pfsense? Even if is recognized as a supported one? The nic is fresh bought.Thanks.

Try to disable ACPI and/or use the smp kernel.

How do i disable acpi or use a smp kernel ???

Search? ;)
Well, ok http://devwiki.pfsense.org/BootOptions (disabiing ACPI).
When installing pfSense it will ask you for the kernel to be installed. Either choose it there or apply the fullupgrade to your system. It will ask you for a kernel selection on upgrade (dropdownbox).
