Missing Option 'Transmit Power'? - TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 N900
-
Hi,
My Problem:
-> missing option to change transmit power of wireless card in wireless interface options. (see attachment).
In the pfSense docs there is an option to change transmit power:
https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Wireless_DetailsAlready tried: manual changes to the card 'ifconfig' won't work either:
$ ifconfig ath0 list chan ifconfig: unable to get channel information: Invalid argument
Wireless Card:
TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 N900System:
2.2.1-RELEASE (amd64)ifconfig -v ath0 ath0: flags=8843 <up,broadcast,running,simplex,multicast>metric 0 mtu 2290 ether ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff nd6 options=21 <performnud,auto_linklocal>media: IEEE 802.11 Wireless Ethernet autoselect mode 11ng <hostap>status: running</hostap></performnud,auto_linklocal></up,broadcast,running,simplex,multicast>
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Could the following notification/error be related to this issue?
I get the vga console output spammed in addition to thesys log with this notifications/errors:

That option is removed since it did not work anyway, plus people were trying to do retarded things with that.
