    Running pfsense 2.1.5, Squidguard 1.4_4 pkg v.1.9.14, squid 2.7.9 pkg v.4.3.4

I've been trying to leverage using blacklisting in Squidguard to filter out search strings in urls (porn, xxx, etc…), but haven't been able to get it to work for the life of me.  Searched and searched but I haven't been able to find any examples where anyone is using this functionality.

Here's the example given in the documentation section of the squidguard home page:
    (^|[-?+=/])(bondage|boobs?|busty?|hardcore|porno?|sex|xxx+)([-?+=/]|$)

I pasted that RG under Services –> Proxy Server --> Access Control --> Blacklist, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Anyone have any tips/tricks on how to get this working?  Or anyone even using this feature that could share how they set it up?

I'm also trying to figure out how to block the "Over 18?" page on reddit.com.  For example, "http://www.reddit.com/over18?dest=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.reddit.com%2Fr%..."  I can figure out how to block, reddit.com using RG's, but never the over18 page.

    Cheers

Use squidGuard in conjunction with a blacklist like Shallalist and you will catch a lot of the common sites.  For other sites, create your own Target Category and then load it with whatever domains, URLs and regex you want.
