Snort with squidGuard and squid3?

Hi,
I have been working with squid3 and squidGuard and been tweaking some things. Im wondering if I start using snort would there be some conflict? And would it be possible to block youtube though snort? Because all https would be blocked though firewall, and http would handle squid3. The only way i could block youtube was though domain override but the problem was that i wanted only few users to be blocked and others can have access. Would that be possible?
