Dansguardian - exceptions for lunchtime and permanent
-
Hello all,
Just trying to get my head around the best way to do this. I have a group of say 20 users. I want to setup permanent exceptions in dansguardian so they can all access certain sites.
I also want 10 of them (via their static IP addresses) to be able to access certain websites or certain categories (eg shopping) only at lunchtime. In the default list I have put in the permanent exceptions which works fine.
I have also setup an ACL that has the allowed categories, and a group that points to this ACL. I realise that I can enable that ACL for the hours I want only.
I can't work out how to put these users into that group just at lunchtime and back to the default outside those hours- I certainly don't want to have to add any new permanent exceptions to both lists.
Does anyone else do something similar to this and can point me in the right direction? At a pinch I would let all 20 users access the special categories at lunchtime too if it makes this possible.
What I don't want to do is allow the users to bypass the default ACL completely at lunchtime which would obviously be simple to implement.
thanks in advance

I'm going to assume I can't do what I want to above.
I also just read that this package hasn't been updated since 2012 due to no freebsd port, so I am probably wasting time trying to configure this - will wait for the e2guardian package
