Radius Reauthenticate intermittent issue

I am currently running pfsense 2.1.5 with captive portal using Radius authentication (NPS on Server 2008 R2 for radius)

For months we have just had a standard access policy for all users, once they had logged on through captive portal they were just left connected until they exceeded their idle time (48 hours). All worked really well with no issues.

Recently we were asked to have different access times for different users depending on which AD groups they were in. Policies were created in NPS to control this and on the CP settings the "Reauthenticate connected users every minute" was ticked.

This worked as expected during our testing and for the first week or so after going live.

The problem we have now is every few days CP stops reauthenticating and leaves all users connected. If i restart the CP service (or reboot) it starts working again - sometimes for 3 or 4 days, sometimes for just 1.

Has anyone came across this problem before?

That does indeed fit the issue so I will try this out and see if it helps.
