Portal page not shown

Hello,

Im having trouble trying to make my captive portal page to display over my LAN iv followed the sticky guide from A to Z problem is when i upload my index.html page and click on " View current page " the page does not load, but when i upload an indexed error page under "Authentication error page contents" and click on " View current page " the page displays without any problem !

My setup is

(ISP –->Pfsesne---> Bridged interface DC----> Switch) DC holds my DHCP server, so dhcp on my pfsense is disabled, when i enable the CP internet disconnection occurs but when disabled internet works.

General settings : DNS

i have set my DC IP as my DNS server.

In the first place, stop sticking your CP on LAN where things like domain controllers reside. Putting CP on trusted LAN is just bad idea (TM).

The DC should be connected to the same switch like everything else on the LAN and the switch goes to pfSense LAN interface. While the DC is routing and NATing, this will never work.

CP goes to dedicated interface.
