      Hi there,

I'm finally setting up wireless at my place after refusing to for quite a while. Basically I'm looking for a decent supported USB 2.0 adapter, and came accross the ATHEROS AR9280.

Does the USB AR9280 work just like the MPCIE one? Has anyone used the USB version with success?

What would be the best 802.11n USB 2.0 adapter that would work with pfSense? I heard Atheros works the best?

Please let me know, I'm limited to USB 2.0 for the time being. Thanks!

Oh I see, thanks for the information. If I don't have any spare PCI, PCI-e, or mPCI-e slots left and USB is out of the picture; would my only option left be an access point?

What AP would be the best in terms of compatibility & security? I have heard Ubiquiti or Xclaim works well?

Is this a wise method? If bus wasn't a limitation, which option would be the best? Thanks.
