I'm getting "unrecognized: url_rewrite_bypass" errors on pfsense 2.2.2 with squid 2.7.9 pkg v.4.3.6 (last one)

url_rewrite_bypass directive is not supported on squid 2.7: http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/config/url_rewrite_bypass/
but squidguard_configurator.inc is adding it always if pfsense 2.2 is detected.

I think that squid_reconfigure function should check squid version and not only pfsense version.

      Thank you.

Any reason you're not using squid3?  Squid2 is ancient.

Is squid2.7 not going to be supported anymore?

I don't know about that, but squid 2 was marked as obsolete 3 years ago by the Squid group.  Today they recommend that you not use it.  The pfSense Squid2 package may have been updated for the security vulns but I don't know for sure.
