Hi everybody. I know this kind of question has been asked before, but i haven't seen any solutions, so just doing a re-check.

I'm running Pfsense 2.2.2 on 6 different servers.
each one has 5 OpenVPN servers running.

for some reason, approximately once a day - i get an Error in the status page saying that the daemon can't be reached. and that i should check if the server is running.

now, the servers don't go down, as i have a monitor for those. it's only the management socket that's being locked for some reason.

now - it's important for me, because i use snort to get alerts on devices and i use the php status to get the Common Name.

      any suggestions here?

Just in case anybody else is sharing the same problem -

changing the unix socket in openvpn.inc to tcp socket solved my problem.
