PfSense 2.2 with Realtek RTL8111GS
-
Does anyone know if pfSense 2.2 works with a the dual Realtek RTL8111GS NICs?
It looks like the RTL8111GR works:

I can just tell you my experience.
Don't use Realtek ever.
I tried it a couple of times and it was a disaster every time.
Even if they worked they had problems under load or randomly stopped working.
Use Intel NICs whenever you can. -

The Realtek board had a new AC wifi card in it that would be nice to have (I know pfSense wouldn't currently recognize it but in the future it may). Best to get the known working Intel NIC though and avoid future headaches.
