      Hello,

I have seen some other topics on this but not in quite awhile. What is the status of smartcard or a hardware-based RSA authentication mechanism with OpenVPN in pfSense? I would be happy to help beta test support for this feature in pfSense

Are there any updates on this? Any information on how to use smartcards with pfSense? Thanks!!

Nitro Key would work for OpenVPN

I really don´t know if this will work with pfSense, but either it is working with the OpenVPN
          on the client side!

Thanks for the tip about Nitro Key. It looks intriguing, at the very least as a way to encrypt the OpenVPN client keys
