        From the ath manpage:
Atheros' SuperG functionality is not supported.
If you don't have a 6.2 FreeBSD box handy, you can read the man pages at http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi
I'm not sure about SuperA, why don't you test with a SuperA client and see what speeds you can get?

I have CM9 atheros cards and I can use SuperA (108 mbit/s). SuperG does not work. This mainly depends on the country settings of your wireless card. Search the forum but in general if the gui doesn't offer those modes your card's country settings reject this setting or it's simply not supported by the card. Also note that not all channels are capable of SuperA. Search the forum how to read out the cards capabilities from the commandline to make sure….

Ok, I did the search for you (this time but next time you'll have to do it by your own  ;) ): http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,854.msg5101.html#msg5101

Ok i looked around and found that my card is a 5414(i opened the metal shield)  SUPER AG .
I did some testing with other router software an manage to work with super G but not Super A.
I also found some problems with this Chip (5414),in some other software it does not even detect it as a 5GHz capable card.
