Applying the setup @ https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Layer_7 I can't figure out how to monitor if it's working or not. I can't turn on logging of the pass rule that references the L7 group or it will overrun the CPU. Any suggestiongs via GUI or console command how to view historically or in real-time?

You cannot. Totally broken in 2.2.x

Dok, your link mentions 2.2 not 2.2.4. I dont see 100% cpu with L7 rule active. Only adds a couple %. How would the L7 block action be monitored if it does work?

That bug mentions 2.3 as target. There's nothing fixed. Will eat your CPU for lunch. Do not use.
