      Hi,
I have a server (ubuntu server) with connection to the Internet, it is static "white" IP address. In the internal network I have a PfSense, which was configured OpenVPN working through the WAN interface. Now it is necessary to abandon the connection and use port forwarding 1194 through the ubuntu server ("external IP_ubuntu_server:1194" -> "internal_IP_pfsense:1194"). In this case, the openVPN client is planning to record access to "external IP_ubuntu_server:1194". Will it work in this case openVPN on pfsense?
      thanks

Yes, if the port forwarding works correctly and the traffic is permitted the VPN connection will work well.
I've had a similar setup for a time.
