    Hi =)

    I have configured proxy server and squidguard in my subnet 172.168.2.x/25. The navigation is ok, but in the moment that open TeamViewer or I want update my antivirus, the connection is failed.

    What could be the problem?

      What type of proxy, transparent? or non transparent? sound like you need to tell these programs to use the proxy.

            are you using a wpad? what are your global internet settings (if windows ,control panel, internet options, connections, lan settings). Seems to be that the program can't find your proxy.

                Is the navigation ok with firefox? might need to add the wpad url in "use automatic configuration script".

                  Your wpad.dat file can be crafted to know to bypass the proxy for certain domains.  Here are examples of how to go direct in the case of a specific hostname or URL:

                  http://findproxyforurl.com/example-pac-file/

                  Note that this may not work if you have ports 80/443 blocked, which is usually the case when you are enforcing proxy use.

                    Hi thanks for your replies.

                    I have several questions…..

                    Where and how can I to use "use automatic configuration script".?

                    Where can I to add the lines of the scripts showed in  http://findproxyforurl.com/example-pac-file/

                        You put them in your wpad.dat and proxy.pac files.
