FreeBSD 10.2-STABLENow that we have elected a liberal government ;) :), could you please put back “America/Montreal” in the the timezone list.
Thanks,

Not until you rename it to Canada/Montreal :P

Love it!
The issue stems from the fact that the ICANN TZ database version 2013e until update 2015c, where it was added back as a link to America/Toronto, had no mention of America/Montreal.
Now you can use that as a gauge of freshness of the OS. :P

More seriously, political jokes left aside - people, please file bugs about ridiculously outdated TZ data @ Redmine. There's still a chance to get this done for 2.2.5

It's already been updated to 2015f in 2.2.5. It's not "ridiculously outdated" either in 2.2.4 unless you consider less than 5 months old to be such.
2.3 doesn't include tzdata in the way 2.2.x and earlier releases did, just what's in stock FreeBSD, so we don't have to update it separately anymore. The list includes what's in tzdata, we don't add or remove anything.

Thank you folks, for your funny and serious replies… (Once again we have to follow America/Toronto timezone ;))
