Transparent mode get only 22Mbit, without i get 30Mbit

Hi,

on my 4core system with quad igb card (kern.ipc.nmbclusters=1000000) downloading one big file i get only 20mbit.
If i bypass the client in the squid config i'll get 30mbit.
I tried to disable the disc cache and a lot of other stuff but still the same speed
Any idea why my speed is lower ?

Sometimes squidproxy do thinks like speed up … ::)
