      Hello!
      We are using a VMM(virtual machine manager) template in order to create pfsense VMs.
      The problem that we face is that we can't get the dhcp IP of the pfsense vm(via console or powershell).
      After reading https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=73258.90  i understood that
      hyper-v is supported.
      Using pfsense 2.2.5,vmm 2012 r2 and hyperv 2012 r2
      What am i doing wrong?
      Thanks!

        The solution was

        #!/bin/sh
        rm -rf /var/db/hyperv/pool
        /usr/sbin/hv_kvp_daemon

        Now it's working as it should….
        Thanks anyway!

          The strange thing is that even if you install from the pfsense cd you have again to delete that folder in order for the daemon to work…nobody has noticed that?
          strange...
