Ok, so I'm building a new home server, and it's going to run ProxMox. :)  I'll have pfsense in a VM, and I'm trying to figure out how to make pfsense live on a ramdrive so it will be fast as it can be.

But, ramdrives being non-persistent, I need to figure out how to make the config files persistent.

      Or I am overthinking this?

I do know that pfsense use a lot of ramdrive anyway, which is why it likes having 1Gb of memory or so.  Will that be sufficient?
