Hello, I have a fresh install of PFSense (latest) and 2 packages installed : squid and squidGuard. I have setup the squid/squidGuard and confirm that it is filtering correctly and blocking sites per my target rules under the Common ACL tab. Unfortunately I would like to be able to Whitelist a domain or Unrestrict a specific IP, but unfortunately it ignores my settings and continues to filter the IP or block the site. I tried adding my IP to the "Banned host addresses" area and get a different result -it appears the config is updated and I am banned from using the filter. I followed the steps from this post : https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=26535.msg138181#msg138181 and added my network to the Allowed subnets, used the domain.com format, and unchecked/check the allow users on interface setting. I have additionally attempted to restart the squid / squidGuard services with no luck. Is there another area to check on ? Is there another rule somewhere that is trumping my settings perhaps?

      Any assistance is appreciated

      Thanks

I've exactly the same problem. Unrestricted IP and whitelist don't work at all.
        Try everything and restart. Nothing.

        Useless at this stade…
