      Greetings.

Please help me. My boss wants to access a particular computer outside office specifically a DVR(CCTV). With this, my idea is to use the vpn. Base on search on google to use openvpn. If I use openvpn, on the client side will be needing only openvpn client? On the server where should I put the public IP. If you have step by step to configure a open vpn its better or I'm open on other suggestion.

      Thank you in advance.

If you have a web interface at the DVR which uses TLS, I see no need to access it over VPN.

If you want to set up OpenVPN on pfSense, a guidance can be found in the pfSense docs: https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/OpenVPN
