I am on the latest release of PFSense.
I just got a new Lumia 735 and continually have trouble connecting.
I have 3 wireless routers on my PFSense and THe system is on 192.168.7.1 Seemed to be a good address out of neighborhood addresses.
The Lumia 735 on first connect always tries to connect to 192.168.1.1 .
I have to force it off and then it will connect with no problem.
Any Ideas on what I can do ?
      Thanks
      JErry

Sounds like you have a rogue DHCP server. Figure out what and where it is and disable DHCP on it. When you get an IP in 192.168.1.x, connect to 192.168.1.1 and see what it is. Or static IP something on that subnet and connect.

The device is a phone so my first thought is that you have it set as an hotspot or access point mode. You want to put the phone into client mode. Turning off the dhcp server on it.

I would try add the MAC address and a static dhcp address on pfSense. You need to enable StaticIP on the phone and use the assigned IP address.

Did that work? Perhaps you have the Verizon version of the phone where they do not have StaticIP option for WiFi?
