If this is in the wrong section I am sorry, basically I have noticed this ip address (40.122.216.24) is uploading something on my network and I'm not sure what it is. I have tried blocking the ip address using pfsense but it still seems to come back and continue uploading which is annoying because it almost saturates my connection causing high ping while playing xbox. could someone please tell me what it is and why it is uploading all the time?

      thankyou

That IP isn't uploading from your network. Maybe something on your network is uploading to that IP. That's a Microsoft IP. Find the internal IP that's connecting to it (Diag>States, filter for that) and see what that machine is doing.

thanks for helping me understand that, just need to wait for that ip to do something again because it has disappeared again haha

It is communicating to the Xbox One, is this normal behaviour because this has never happened on my Xbox One but it's talking to my Brother's Xbox One.
