"No Data Recieved" On All Websites when Squid Active
-
I just clean installed the latest 2.3 built on Tue Jan 19 19:33:24 CST 2016
I restored my config file. Squid and Squidguard appear to be working but it will not redirect to my sgerror.php file. I just get a "No Data Recieved" error page in Chrome.
I have sgerror.php hosted on another machine on my network and use the "ext url err page" option in Squidguard.
Any ideas?
I was actually getting the "No Data Received" error for any website except pfsense.org. After disabling Squid I am able to browse the internet normally. I am really lost on this one…

Similar here, have noted that several times I get the following on numerous different websites. "ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE" Goes away if Squid is turned off.
-
I can confirm. Happens on all websites with squid active.

Has anyone figured this out? I was fishing thru squid logs last night and came acrossed an entry that said could not write squidguard.log file. I'm guessing it could be permissions based but this is way out of my league. Can someone look into this issue further?

SAME HERE

I'm facing a similar issue too. Certain sites are not loading with No data received error. Hoping to see it fixed soon.

I'm finding some sites will open while most will fail. Pretty much exhausted myself trying to troubleshoot it and find any further details.

Clean install, restore confit file, problem remains. Netgate has logon info to my box. Feel free to see it first hand. I've also gone thru all the steps. Problem still remains.

This 32 or 64 bit?
Brian: I see record of something on your domain, but browsing there gets a web page that's something other than expected (won't disclose what publicly, you can probably guess). If you can PM me the URL I'll get into your system to review.

Did you receive it ok?
