2 Xbox One online Help/Assistance
-
Alright everyone,
I have been trying to figure out this problem for months, reading the forms on here and various other forms and I cannot seem to find a resolution :( I have two Xbox Ones and a single WAN IP. With my situation if I follow set these settings listed below, both Xboxs will have Open NAT, will be able to join parties but ANY multiplayer game, the first xbox who actually starts and has gone passed the start screen will be the only one able to connect to the game's servers, the other xbox just times out.
pfsense - 10.0.0.0/8
Xbox - 10.200.200.0/29
Xbox 1 - 10.200.200.1 - Open
Xbox 2 - 10.200.200.2 - OpenUpnp - allow 1-65535 10.200.200.1/32 1-65535
allow 1-65535 10.200.200.2/32 1-65535Firewall Rules>LAN - IPv4 * 224.0.0.0/8 * * * * none
IPv4 * 239.0.0.0/8 * * * * noneI am not sure if I just do not know how to subnet lol but I have had a whole other set of configurations for the router and I was able to have both Xboxs play online together no matter which one turns on or any of that. My buddy wanted to play Rainbow 6 and I restored my router to those settings that were backed up in Dec so the Xbox IPs are changed.
When both the xboxs have Strict NAT, we are able to join any multiple player games together but with strict NAT, but still joins games surprisingly, and party chat still works. But I have set ALOT of firewall rules and most I did not disable when I tried to modify other settings but as it sits right now, it works kinda..

I'm actually running into the same issue. I have several Xbox One Consoles and they are all able to get online with open NAT. The problem arises when two or more consoles attempt to play the same game (Rainbow 6 or Black Ops 3), the 1st one to connect has no issues playing but the 2nd or 3rd cannot connect to the game servers. This issue happens on 2.2.4 , 2.2.6 , and the latest 2.3. The consoles can all play online normally when they are playing different games.
I don't believe it's anything else on my network causing the issue because when I switch to a Netgear R7000 the consoles can all play online in the same game.
edit: just wanted to add that I have several xbox 360's and those do not experience the issue.

I FINALLY FIXED IT. I am going to screenshot all of my settings. I have tested on both consoles are able to play any multiplayer games at the same time with open NAT.

Going to give this a try, thanks for the screenshots.

Is it still working for you with this configuration?

Wow! Does the X-Box really need port 53 forwarded from external?? That seems like a bad idea to me. That is general DNS requests!
I think 3074 is the most important one, and maybe 88. I have been told if you have more X-Boxes, some games at least will look at 3075 and then 3076 in sequence. I don't know if this applies to all of them. You could try having those ports open and setup STATIC OUTBOUND NAT as in the stickied note in the Gaming forum…

That probably wouldn't work since I think the xboxs only know to change ports if they are already set in UPnP. I have yet to see a successful setup with multiple boxes that doesn't use it.

Dude, thanks a bunch :)

Xbox only uses 3074 for inbound everything else is outbound only, if 3074 is not available it will pick a random high port to try and UPNP forward.
