      I've been on 2.3 for about 3 or 4 days now. I've watched the dashboard prompt me to updates several times a day. Always curious what changes, fixes, etc happen with each one. Is this posted anywhere?

        While pfSense is in Alpha/Beta (Maybe even RC) any commits that are merged will show up as an update in the dashboard.

        You can see all of the latest commits here:

          Understood. Just curious if the fixes are noted anywhere? It's a curiosity more then anything.

              Mostly you do not need to do the updates all the time. When there are just changes to PHP code in that https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense repository, then you can use the console menu option 13 to "gitsync" the latest changes onto your system:

              *** Welcome to pfSense 2.3-BETA-nanobsd (amd64) on pfSense ***

               WAN (wan)       -> re1        -> v4/DHCP4: 10.49.209.3/22
               ZLAN1 (lan)     -> re2        -> v4: 192.168.1.1/24
                                                v6: 1:2:3:4::1/64

               0) Logout (SSH only)                  9) pfTop
               1) Assign Interfaces                 10) Filter Logs
               2) Set interface(s) IP address       11) Restart webConfigurator
               3) Reset webConfigurator password    12) pfSense Developer Shell
               4) Reset to factory defaults         13) Update from console
               5) Reboot system                     14) Disable Secure Shell (sshd)
               6) Halt system                       15) Restore recent configuration
               7) Ping host                         16) Restart PHP-FPM
               8) Shell

              Enter an option: 13

              >>> Updating repositories metadata...

              Processing entries: .. done
              pfSense-core repository update completed. 10 packages processed.

              Fetching meta.txz: . done
              Fetching packagesite.txz: .......... done
              Processing entries: .......... done
              pfSense repository update completed. 339 packages processed.
              ...

              However, you should do a "proper" update every now and then, because there will be patches and new versions of utilities, binaries etc that come from FreeBSD and its associated packages. For those repos is is a bit harder to follow everything, because so much of it gets synced across from upstream FreeBSD:
              https://github.com/pfsense/FreeBSD-src
              https://github.com/pfsense/FreeBSD-ports

              So I do a "proper" update every few days (at least weekly), or when there is a "heads up" notice in this forum to say that there is some critical change to binary code.

              As the Greek philosopher Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle."
