      Hi everyone,

I'm newbie to PFS and the whole networking thing but I managed to setup and run PFS. Here is the specs of the hardware:

      • Asus Z97-K mobo
      • i5-4440 CPU
      • 8GB memory
      • 1 dlink card (1 gigabyte) card assigned as WAN interface
      • Mobo interface is assigned as LAN interface
      • 1 TPlink card (1 gigabyte) card assigned as bridge and dedicated for my unraid limetech server

The issue: when I move a file from my pc to the server, maximum speed I'm getting for transfer is 11MB (very slow) but when I connect the server to the LAN, the speed about 110MB (normal/fast).

I couldn't figure out the issue.

      Your contribution is appreciated.

      Thanks in advance,

      Abdulla

You shouldn't use bridged interfaces as a replacement for a switch. It cannot work as good as dedicated hardware.
I don't know the TP-Link cards and their chipset. Chances are, they are based on cheap Realtek chipsets. They are known to not work great.

Just buy a cheap Gbit switch.
