Can't seem to get the latest 2.3 image to install on a new machine using a thumb drive.  The 2.2.6 image works ok.  I initially thought it was hanging just after hitting enter on the "Welcome to pfSense" menu (see the Install.jpg). But after about ~15 minutes, it initially enters the pfSense setup wizard.  I initiated the custom install, ran through the options to format the drive, etc… all of which were successful. Then received errors when trying to apply the standard kernel.  After that I can't seem to proceed any further as I get other errors when trying to format the drive again or when trying to run the quick install.

Wondering if there's something I should check for in the BIOS to enable / disable.  During the initial boot process, it does seem pretty sluggish, that is, it takes some time just to get to the "Welcome to pfSense" menu options.

      Here's the machine specs:
      -Asus Maximus VIII Gene Motherboard
      -i7-6700K processor
      -WD Black 1TB - 7200 RPM SATA 6 Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD1003FZEX
      -Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz
-Intel Gigabit CT PCI-E Network Adapter EXPI9301CTBLK

Here are the errors I get right after clicking to install the standard kernel.

Decided to try again.  After looking at the LUA file where the error was occurring, it appeared to be in an IF block for verbose logging.  I was enabling that option so thought I would try again, this time without verbose logging enabled.  I also selected the quick install option this time.  Worked like a charm.  So appears something is up with either the verbose logging and/or custom install selections.
