Subnet calc on wan iface
-
Hi!
See attached image.
What is going on?BR,
Greg
-
What I did was remove IPV6 GW from WAN I never touched IPV4 settings there.
-
note the "/1" that'll overlap with basically anything ;)
this is either a bug with updating and modifying the subnet or its a bug calculation the subnet or both.
some of yesterdays commits involved moving to higher level function for calculating subnets

Yesterday's changes in this area didn't touch interfaces.php.
I tested it here and it's respecting subnet bits I chose and not moving to /1. Lets wait from submitter if there is a way to reproduce the problem

I can reproduce it now if you ment me :)

Good, what are necessary steps to reproduce it?

Hmm I just read your post more carefully.
I had IP / 1 ?? Why?
I changed it back to IP / 16
Something reverted it to 1 and I have no idea what.

Is that a static entry or a DHCP lease you get from your provider?
-
Static.
I`m looking at my 2.2.6 config and indeed there is /16.So something changed it from /16 to /1 and sure as hell wasn`t me :)

Likely was you, maybe a stray tab and key press that switched the box to 1. Look under Diag>Backup/restore, Config history tab. You'll see where it changed.
