Will there be a Apache / Modsecurity package for 2.3?

any plans to build a package with apache/modsecurity or do you wait for libmodsecurity v3 or will you drop the package?

There are no active plans to carry it on 2.3 at this time.

So the only option for reverse proxy is HA-proxy, correct?
No plans for mod_security? :(

haproxy, yes.

We never officially supported the mod_security package and it did not see more than occasional maintenance by community members over time. If there is enough demand for it after 2.3-RELEASE and the legwork gets done, maybe, but at the moment it's not looking likely.
