      The upcoming monitoring abilities are great.

      Are there any plans for pfsense to display more interesting stuff under "Status" > "Monitoring", like firewall-, surricata- and pfblocker-entries?

      So it would be like a little ELK stack  ;) In my experience only these vizualitions let you "really" understand how to protect your network from big attacs.

      Would be kind of "dreams com true".

        The current plan was just to replace the old RRD graphs, I can't speak to future plans.

        If there is a datapoint then, in theory, yes it can be added.

          ok, thanks for the info and your work on pfsense.

          Do you know by chance when the final 2.3 approximately is planed to be released? Do we speak of days, weeks or months?

              "I know nothing, I just work here" :)

              Ok seriously, it should be aligned with 10.3 freebsd release so I would bet in a month :)

                Hi.

                Talking in other aspects. Widget traffic graphs and respective status will give the shiny new chart model to 2.3? I  added the widget to dashboard with the dark side theme and this combination is ugly.

                Thanks

                pfSense:

                NIC's: RTL8100E (Internal ) and Intel® PRO/1000 PT Dual (Intel 82571GB)

                  I stayed up way too late playing around with real time graphs last night. I can't make any promises, but we'll see.

                  It's the last big eyesore…plus I came across this line:

                  /**
                   * getURL is a proprietary Adobe function, but it's simplicity has made it very
                   * popular. If getURL is undefined we spin our own by wrapping XMLHttpRequest.
                   */

                  gross…

                      So I stayed up way too late again and did a thing (polling real traffic numbers):

                      Still no promises.

                            You should more often stay up for too late, jdillard  ;) ;) ;)

                            Great idea.

                              haha I already do it way too much as it is.

                              I have the traffic graph as a proof of concept (read: nothing you see is in no way final) widget now. Most of the ideas are there, I just need to implement and clean up.
