I use AD Authentication (LDAP) to authenicate myself to my PFSense 2.3 box. I was using the AD group "Domain Admins", which I my userid is a member of. I defined a new group on the PFSense box as "Domain-Admins" and assigned all of the rights to.

I've been using AMD64 and when i upgraded to

built on Tue Mar 22 02:17:00 CDT 2016

I was able to authenticate, but I no longer showed that I was a member of any groups.

As a test, I built a new group that did not have a space in it, defined it in the user manager, and was able to autneitcate back in with all my rights.

DId something change in the handling of AD groups?

      Adam

Group names with spaces are invalid on pfSense. Add an AD group name without spaces if you want to use it on pfSense in that way.

Until a few days ago they were not blocked, but also malfunctioning at the OS level.
