IGMP Proxy/IP TV crashes network

Hi looking for some assistance with a problem I've been working on for hours upon hours.
Our ISP (BT) provides us with IP TV channels through a Youview box.
I did have this working for the past 6 months with no problems at all. However in the past 2 weeks its suddenly stopped working.
What is happening is if I go to one of the internet channels, it locks up the LAN interface totally. The only way to get it back is to restart the interface a few times. The channel displays nothing apart from an error.
I am on 2.3-RC as of now, but this was also happening on 2.2.5 and 2.2.6.

This also happens if on a laptop I open VLC, and open a network stream to here: rtp://234.81.130.4:5802, however interestingly half of a frame loaded before crashing.
Anyone have any suggestions? It's infuriating me!
