      Hello All,

I recently upgraded from pfsense 2.2.6 to 2.3 and ran into some trouble with SquidGuard. Before the upgrade I had Squidguard running without any issues. After the upgrade I had the same problems as this post.

I managed to fix the issue but now the webmail is not completely being blocked.
      I use the blacklist http://www.shallalist.de/Downloads/shallalist.tar.gz
For some reason it only blocks gmail on google chrome but on Mozilla Firefox it allows me to log into a gmail account.

      Does anyone have any suggestions?
      Thank you.

So I decided to check again and now it looks like gmail is blocked. But only if someone tries to type in gmail.com
If someone goes to google first, types in gmail and then clicks on a link they can log in. How strange.

Gmail is blocked,  but actual gmail service is https://mail.google.com and because it's https it won't be blocked unless you use man in the middle.

You probably had cookies issues with firefox(very common) and that's why it appeared as if it wasn't blocked.
