in the clients section, what is the username w/c I can put there? Is it the pfsense user accounts also used for the Captive portal?
If so, can I put them in a group and use the group there instead? thanks. (n00bie here)

to use captive portal user/pass you have to set squid as non-transparent mode and choose captive portal on authentication tab
