      Can you add the ability to track Device temperature?  If the device supports temperature output?

          From what I understand, it is a little difficult with RRD as you have to pre-specify how many different data points you expect and different CPUs have different numbers of cores.

          It is possible, but since a new RRD database has to be created, I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.

            What about just the general system temperature, the same single value that appears in the System Info widget on the dashboard, whether you have any of the advanced temperature options enabled?

            The S in IOT stands for Security

              That's possible too, but I would try and exhaust the options on getting the cores in first.

              If someone wants to take a stab at it they can, I haven't messed with inputting into RRD yet. I think the file you want to look at is /etc/inc/rrd.inc.
