      A bug fix update for the Snort package on pfSense 2.3 has been posted.  The update contains the following fixes:

      Bug Fixes

      1.  Blocking of offenders not working on new installs because of an incorrect parameter being stored for the "Block Offenders" setting.
      2.  Snort Alerts dashboard widget not updating after being restored as part of a package update/reinstall.
      3.  Snort package cron tasks and some code files remain after the package is removed.
      4.  "Kill States" is now enabled by default when "Block Offenders" is enabled. It can still be explicitly disabled by the user, and the setting will be retained. For most setups "Kill States" should be enabled.
