'net' verses 'address'

  • When entering a source or destination in a Firewall rule, what is the difference between '….. net' and '….. address? For example, 'LAN net' verses 'LAN address'.

    Thanks.

    Greg

  • Address is the interface address, e.g. 192.168.1.1, net is the interface's subnet, e.g. 192.168.1.0/24.
