It's pinging the gateway IP at WAN. As your other interfaces don't have gateways there is no quality for these.

Computers on your local LAN should not even be using the firewall to route. They talk directly. So I would say that your problem is most likely not related and if it is, you have a configuration issue in how you subnetted everything out.

Did you do a full reinstall or an upgrade?  If you did a upgrade please reinstall from ISO. Also, please start a new thread as this has nothing to do with the webGUI being slow, broken is completely different.

@jeroen234: can't ypu upgrade the radius server so that it will use the new radius standerd ??? no i cant that radius server in not free and developers dont want to change ports? so i have some kind of blackbox :( maybe i can do patch and send it to you if it will be used in new versions

All themes are located here: http://pfsense.com/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/pfSense/usr/local/www/themes/ Each directoryname is displayed as selectable theme in the dropdown at system>advanced (unless it starts with "_"). The all.css has all the colorinformations and the menu layout. The other folders in the themedirectory hold the graphics for buttons, bars and so on. For getting files up and down your pfsense enable ssh and logon with http://www.winscp.net using user root and password <webguipassword>. Good luck.</webguipassword>

I got the same issue here with beta1 version, and certanly there is no transparent.gif in any of the themes, so, if there is someone interested, here is the transparent.gif to resolve this issue: www.gtred.com/transparent.gif You just have to put in the "/usr/local/www/themes/metallic/images" or whatever your theme is.  As Scott said before. I hope this may help!

Themesupport only offers "optical" changes (Graphics, Buttons, Icons, Menustyle) . It doesn't let you change the language. English is hardcoded into the php-pages itself. You would need to edit all pages of the webgui. A translation so far is very hard to maintain as you would have to do everything again for the next version.

Probably,  as my traffic shaper doesn't make my internet slow down at all.  But I don't really know how well the shaping is working either :).
