I don't know.  I have suggested on a couple of occasions that it would be nice if there was a package that could be loaded that would filter certain things out of the logs based on regular expression.  I'm not sure if this can be done, or if anyone can make such a thing.  It would be nice to have a way to keep the logs clean in real-time.

It would be especially useful to be able to omit certain things from firewall logs.
