      Hi,
Really sorry if this is answered but I'm a bit stuck.
I have an m3u playlist that contains urls for the streams but they are using port 8000.
I created a firewall rule to allow any source 8000 to any destination 8000 as a test to see if I could get the stream through. i.e http://service.com:8000/ghgadfahdahdh.ts
My Plex Server shows the channels but if I click one I get a message saying it could not establish a connection.
If I use a a playlist without a port such as http://service.com/sfsfsgsgsdgsg.ts I get a channel on the screen.

I assume I am doing something wrong?? But what leaves me baffled.
If anyone knows how to overcome this I would be really grateful.

I created an allias for the port IPTV_Ports and put 8000 in it so could add others as and when.
I have an alias IPTV_Plex with the server address that would eventually like the port alias be used in the rules.

      Kind regards,

        Couple of things:

1- Source ports rarely match destination ports, so you might want to change the rule you have to: ANY source (any protocol or TCP/UDP) to ANY destination PORT 8000.

2- Is your LAN restricted on outbound connections? Typically LANs allow all outbound access, which would negate the need for the above rule. Your setup might be different so I thought I'd clarify before I tell you something wrong.

3-Can you explain your setup in more detail? I'm not clear on the entire situation aside from you're trying to stream content.

Hope to hear back soon, looks like youve been waiting since the 13th for an answer.
