We are running PfSEnse 2.5.2 RC in HA Pair. We are getting the error below every hour, 10s apart. Has anyone seen this on PFS 2.5.2?

It can't sync the package config for some reason.

Once an hour sounds like maybe pfBlocker?

Do you have that installed only on the Primary perhaps?

Why are you running 2.5.2-RC and not Release?

Hmm I thing it is PfBlocker. On the primary firewall, I went ahead and actually specified the backup firewall in the Sync Settings in PfBlocker and put the credentials in. Once I did that, I got this error in the logs:

/rc.filter_synchronize: The pfSense software configuration version of the other member could not be determined. Skipping synchronization to avoid causing a problem!

Is that cause the 2 firewalls are NOT in sync or?

          Thanks.

Are you actually running different versions on each node? That will break sync for good reason.
