      Just got AT&T fiber with the BGW320-505 and wondering if there's a NIC that will negotiate with the 5Gbps copper port on that device AND works with pfSense 2.5.x. The Intel i225 looks great but it's new and not yet supported in 2.5 afaik so wondering about 10Gbps copper NICs that are currently supported and can negotiate at 5Gbps or 2.5Gbps.

      Are there any?

        i225 (igc) is supported in 2.5.2 but there is a fix that missed that cut that's in 2.6.

        There are also some 700 series NICs that will link an N-baseT. The X710-T2 for example. I have not tested that personally but there are numerous reports here on the forum.
