200MBps problems

Hi

I am new to this forum so I hope I am putting it on the correct place.

I have just implemented PFsense on my new internet line. PFsense is acting as my proxy server. I am having a problem that I am only getting between 20 to 100 MB when I am doing speed tests thru the server. When I plug my pc in directly I get the full bandwidth. Any ideas where I can check to try to get the correct speed?

start by testing with a clean install (=no packages whatsoever)

if the problem is the same with clean install, check system logs for error, check interface configuration, check wiring, check cpu usage

if the problem is fixed, add packages, one at a time & try again until you find the culprit.
