I'm trying to avoid doing this in OpenVPN for performance reasons, but.... I have L2TP/IPSec setup and currently working where mobile devices and laptops can connect back in.

The problem: They run an app that sends a broadcast discovery over UDP, that traffic never even comes over the VPN presently. I need to change the way they VPN in so that traffic at least makes it accross the wire and my current setup isn't doing it. The clients can directly connect to things on the LAN at present. If that traffic even attempted to cross the vpn I could use socat to redirect it somewhere specifically but it doesn't.

Any suggestions? IPSEC or even possibly wireguard?

      Running PFSenseCE 2.5.2-RELEASE.

      Thanks!
