Out of nowhere my Pfsense running ona dell r210 server was with 10gig wan and 10 gig lan to a mikrotik and then the link just vanished and i was only able to get it back by setting the switch to force negotiate at 1 gig. Any idea what that could me. Im using DAK cables

So it will no longer link at 10G at all and was previously.

Bad cable? Bad port (at either end)?

Something very electrically noisy been turned on close to it?

No if you just swap the card and those are the only 10G NICs on the firewall it should be fine.

If there are other NICs using the same driver the order may change.
