      Hello Team,
I have a device SG-3100. While updating from 2.5.0 to 2.5.1, it got failed and could not boot to the PfSense. Now I connected using console cable with putty tool. I could see the config.xml files under backup of the last 5 months. I would like to copy those files to the pendrive, before I do anything.

How can I copy those files?

      Thanks,
      Ram.

My best suggestion is to cat the file and log the terminal session. From there you can clean up the output and resave as an .xml.

You can insert a usb stick, mount it, and copy the files off. A fat formatted stick works well.
