        @superpaul209 said in Need some help with IPv6 configuration:

        When Im looking my DHCP logs, it says : advertise contains no address/prefix.

        Well that would explain it.. If you ask for a /56 prefix but you don't get it - you would not be able to track that on lan side interface for what prefix to put on that interface.

        You have contacted your isp and they do provide prefix delegation?

        2a01:xxxx:xx:xxxx::/56

        Getting a that prefix on your wan, is not delegation.. Which would allow you to set track on yoru lan side interfaces.

            Be careful about using DHCPv6 on the LAN side. Thanks to some genius at Google, Android doesn't support it.

                SLAAC is often used instead of DHCPv6. That's what I use, as I do have Android devices. Regardless, you're talking opposite sides of pfsense. How does your ISP provide IPv6 on the WAN side? Whether you use SLAAC or DHCPv6 on the LAN side has nothing to do with that.

                  @jknott Hi, I also have pfsense 2.6.0 which gives working IPv6 addresses to Windows and Linux, but not to Android. Should I switch to SLAAC instead of Assisted?

                  I have switched to Stateless DHCP and does not seem to work.

                  I have followed https://hezik.nl/2021/configure-ipv6-for-ziggo-bridge-modems-on-pfsense/

                    DHCPv6 does not work with Android. You'll have to switch to SLAAC.
